Made up of ten provinces and three territories, Canada boasts a wide, diverse culture, which is celebrated with pride, and there is simply no way to see everything in one trip.

The country stretches from the Atlantic Ocean in the East to the Pacific Ocean in the West to the Arctic Ocean in the north and is bordered by the United States of America to the south.

Canada was formed on July 1st, 1867 by the British North American Act; the four original provinces were Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The capital city is Ottawa.

Canada's official languages are English and French. French is the majority language of Quebec and is widely spoken in New Brunswick and southern Manitoba. English is the majority language elsewhere except in certain communities and in Nunavut, where the majority language is Inuktitut.
